Summer Financial Aid

Awards for Summer are based on remaining financial aid eligibility from the Fall 2023 and/or Spring 2024 semesters at any college. To qualify for most aid programs, students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units undergraduates, 4 units for graduates).

Pell Grant is offered to students who are currently receiving the award and have eligibility. Students may be awarded up to the standard amount they typically receive within the Fall/Spring semesters (based on full-time). However, amounts can vary based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and the number of units enrolled for the summer session. Utilizing this award for summer will count toward the student’s overall lifetime Pell limit (6 years or 12 full-time semesters).

irect Loans have an annual and lifetime aggregate loan limit which determines the amount a student can borrow within an academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer). The Direct loan annual and aggregate loan limits are available at the Federal Student Aid website.
