Completely changed the look in my living room going from custom draperies with sheers on a traverse to grommet curtains. I like the new look, but miss the ease of closing the sheers at night. Is there a simple way for grommets without the nightly adjusting for evenness and symmetry?

    I would attach a thin piece of ribbon between each pair of grommets that allow the pleat to be the space that you need. Use the same length of ribbon on all of them. Then when you close the curtain all the pleats will be the same space.
